Chelan PUD Mosquito Control Coming to Horan Natural Area

Chelan PUD Parks and State Fish and Wildlife crews will apply pellets to control mosquitoes in and around the ponds of the Horan Natural Area starting Monday, Aug. 8. Plans are to treat about five acres of the 100-acre natural area. PUD Parks Superintendent Ryan Baker said staff plans two more applications, about 30 days apart, depending on water level in the ponds.…
