Fall Preserving Class

You can can, can’t you? Learn how to safely preserve your own food at home! During this hands-on class, you will learn the basics of both boiling water bath and pressure canning and when to choose which. We’ll be working primarily with apples. Participants are encouraged to bring other items to class they’d like to can, and to bring their own home equipment (there will be equipment available to use during class as well).

This class will be held entirely outside at Julia’s house. Masks are required.
An optional carpool will be set up to travel to Julia’s house.

Cost: $60 non-member, $50 member
Limit of 10 participants.
