Bus trip features stop at Douglas County Museum

August 16 @ 1:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Free

Meet up at Columbia Station to take advantage of the longer summer days for this afternoon road trip via the No. 25 bus through historic dryland wheat fields. Escape the August heat to see some cool glow-in-the-dark rocks and start your own North Central Washington rock collection. Stroll through Waterville’s historic downtown, check out the courthouse, Nifty Theatre and the 116-year-old Waterville Historic Hotel. Catch the return No. 25 bus to end the guided tour at 5:30 p.m. These free monthly tours are designed for children and their caregivers seeking ways to explore North Central Washington destinations easily accessed from Link Transit’s fixed-route system. All tours begin and end at Wenatchee’s Columbia Station and are designed to familiarize community members with public transportation. Participating families will receive a guide to bus-friendly family destinations. Reserve a spot by emailing sdanko@linktransit.com or call 509-664-7624. Space is limited.
