-MASS VACCINATION SITE OPEN AT THE TOWN TOYOTA CENTER-
East Wenatchee, WA- The Chelan-Douglas Health District (CDHD) is actively working with the Washington State Department of Health, Grant and Okanogan Counties, Confluence Health, the National Guard, and several community agencies to provide a mass vaccination drive-thru site at the Town Toyota Center beginning Tuesday, January 26, by appointment only until further notice. The state is in Phase 1B Tier 1, which means everyone 65 and over and those 50 and over in multigenerational households are eligible. Those who work in healthcare, first responders and staff and residents of long-term care centers also are eligible. Residents should first check if they are eligible for the vaccine by using the
State PhaseFinder tool, link.zixcentral.com/u/6aa5785a/AsVPQjxf6xGlMsceg- oQLQ?u=https%3A%2F%2Fform.findyourphasewa.org%2F and fill out the questionnaire. You can sign up for an email or text notification regarding the vaccine eligibility. PhaseFinder does not schedule vaccine appointments.
This week, residents who qualify will need to register here for an appointment. Once the appointment time is confirmed, people may come to the Town Toyota Center. Please do not show up at the vaccination site without a scheduled appointment as residents will be asked to leave.
The mass vaccination sites at the Town Toyota Center and Confluence Health will serve as many doses as received. As more vaccine is available, people in Chelan, Douglas, Grant, and Okanogan counties will be able to get it from a variety of places. Residents are asked to receive
