With Cashmere Business Park Complete, Ports Turn Attention To Rock Island
The Port Districts of Chelan and Douglas Counties are moving ahead with redevelopment plans for the old silicon plant in Rock Island.
The Chelan County Port is also welcoming Governor Jay Inslee to the new Cashmere Business Park (at the old mill site on Sunset Highway) for a ribbon cutting today at Noon.
Commission President JC Baldwin said they already have two tenants in the facility – one from Chelan, one from California – and expect more businesses to coming to Cashmere, as commercial space is in short supply in the Valley right now.
