‘Student-First Decisions’ Top Priority For New Wenatchee Schools Superintendent

The Wenatchee School District has a new Superintendent for the first time in nearly 20 years. In February, the Wenatchee School Board voted 4-1 to enter into contract negotiations with Dr. Paul Gordon to be the next superintendent.
Gordon comes from a large school district in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. He replaces Brian Flones, who was superintendent for 19 years.
Gordon has a three-part transition plan and is suggesting a tax levy increase to balance the district’s budget. You can view more at WenatcheeSchools.org.
