INFRA Grant, North Ave., Federal Building – Wenatchee Economic Development Update
Steve King, the City of Wenatchee’s Economic Development Director, joins KOHO to talk about several initiatives underway – from North Wenatchee Avenue and the old WSDOT property, to the latest with Confluence Parkway – a new thoroughfare to take traffic over the Wenatchee River that will cost about $125 million, which the city was not awarded in this summer’s round of federal INFRA grants.
King said work also continues to convert the Federal Building – the old Post Office on Yakima St. – into the new City Hall.
