Natalie Kahler, a Cashmere native now studying a Masters in music, heard about the asylum seekers at the U.S./Mexico border and wanted to find a way to help. That lead her to the non-profit Preemptive Love, which works with refugees around the world.

To raise money for those in need, Kahler helped organize a community concert in East Wenatchee this Sunday, July 21, at 7 p.m. at Celebration Lutheran Church.

Kahler said the concert is about celebrating Latin-American culture and to raise money and awareness for the people seeking asylum.
