‘All About The Classroom’ – New Cascade School Superintendent Starts Orientation

There’s a changing of the guard, so to speak, for the Cascade School District this week. As Superintendent Bill Motsenbocker says goodbye after five years, he passes the baton to Dr. Tracey Beckendorf-Edou.

She’s a Washington State native who’s been teaching in Oak Ridge Tennessee since 2010 and has also taught in Africa.

Motsenbocker talks about finding his successor and his advice for her this week. Beckendorf-Edou covers her teaching background and getting up to speed on the schools and families of the Upper Wenatchee Valley.
