Garden Guru – Tomato, Pepper Starts, Soil Prep, Spring Showers

Scott Parsons is your Garden Guru and joins us every Tuesday during the growing season, which is off to a slow start in 2019. After February’s record snowfall, Parsons said it’s pushed back budding by about a month.

In Episode 3, Parsons talks about getting your soil and seeds ready. He uses LED lights to get tomato and pepper sprouts going. Parsons said stay dry this week with showers on and off, using it to your advantage before you have to start watering the garden yourself.
