Congress Approves Big Public Lands Package, With Local Impacts

President Lyndon Johnson created the Land and Water Conservation Fund so that we would have the most extensive network of open spaces in the world to hunt, fish, hike, swim and play.

But the fund was not extended by congress and it expired in September of last year. As of Tuesday however, the fund is back in action, as Marcus Bellissimo reports.
