2019 Legislature: Sen. Hawkins on Proposed Transportation Funding Package

12th District Senator Brad Hawkins joins Dan Langager every Tuesday on the KOHO Morning Show during the 2019 legislative session in Olympia.

Today Hawkins talks about a proposed $16 billion transportation package that would include at least half a dozen projects in the 12th District, from Wenatchee and East Wenatchee to the Methow Valley. To pay for the package, the proposal includes a six-cent gas tax increase, raising the fee on electric vehicles and creating a fee on carbon emissions from large polluters.
