County Officials Ask Lawmakers For More Funding As Legislative Session Nears

It’s budget season, with cities, counties and other organizations finalizing their 2019 spending plans. But they’re also keeping an eye on the upcoming legislative session.

At a recent Tri-Commission meeting (commissioners of Chelan County, Port of Chelan County and Chelan PUD) , county commissioners  said they’re concerned about so-called unfunded mandates. Marcus Bellissimo reports.
