Autumn Leaf – Leavenworth’s Original Festival – Marks 55th Year This Weekend

A festival takes place this weekend in Leavenworth that’s as old as the City of Leavenworth. Well, as old as the town’s Bavarian theme.

The Autumn Leaf Festival celebrates the turning colors and is the town’s original festival, originating in 1964. The parade is tomorrow at noon, but activities go on all weekend, as Marcus Bellissimo reports.
