2017 Apple Harvest Likely Third Largest In State History
Apple harvest is winding down for some varieties, going strong for others. The size of apples this year is slightly smaller, says Todd Fryhover, President of the Washington State Apple Commission, but the overall crop will likely be the third largest in state history – about 131 million 40-pound boxes.
