Numerica PAC Stage Named for Wenatchee Patron Who Helped Found It – Wilfred Woods
In February this year, philanthropist, avid outdoorsman and Wenatchee World publisher Wilfred Woods passed away at the age of 97. Woods was a strong supporter of the arts throughout his life and helped secure the creation of the Performing Arts Center at the Stanely Civic Center in downtown Wenatchee.
To honor that legacy the PAC announced this week it will unveil the Wilfred R. Woods Stage tonight at 7:30, immediately before the 2017-2018 Numerica PAC season kick-off show, m-pact.
Matt Cadman, the Center’s Executive Director, joins Dan Langager in the KOHO studios to talk about the impact Woods left on him, the theater and tonight’s dedication.
