Hale Park, Wenatchee’s Newest City Park, Set to Open Aug. 15
We sent Dan Langager to the new Hale Park in South Wenatchee along the Apple Capital Loop Trail to get the latest on its free, off-leash dog park and other features. Dan talked with Dave Erickson, Director of the city’s Parks & Recreation Department, about the two-phased construction of the park, delays due to hard bedrock below the surface and the upcoming ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday, Aug. 15 at 6 p.m.
