Despite Late Start, Cherry Harvest on Track to Meet Consumer Demand

Jon DeVaney, President of the Washington State Tree Fruit Association, joins Dan Langager on the KOHO Morning Show for an update on this year’s cherry harvest. DeVaney said the crop this year could be a near-record. And with a large harvest, labor is tight, but manageable, he said, and even though the harvest started late due to a wet, long spring, it should wrap up in early August.
