Rattlesnake Season is Here – Avoiding, Respecting NCW’s Native Reptiles
Hiking in Eastern Washington during the spring and summer months means blue skies, warm weather, open trails, and, sometimes, hearing the distinctive rattle of a rattlesnake. Recreation officials want you to know rattlesnakes can sometimes be just as scared of you as you are of them.
