Northwest Hort Expo Opens Today in Wenatchee

The Washington State Tree Fruit Association is hosting their 112th Annual Meeting and Northwest Hort Expo at the Wenatchee Convention Center for the next three days. It’s the largest tree fruit educational gathering in the country. The three-day event serves as a forum to discuss the latest trends and hot topics within the tree fruit industry. This year the up and coming new apple variety Cosmic Crisp, developed at WSU’s Tree Fruit Research Center in Wenatchee, will be center stage. More than 1,600 people are expected to attend.
