Chelan PUD Hosting Public Meeting on Proposed Leavenworth Substation Tonight

With population on a steady incline in the region, and energy needs along with it, the Chelan County PUD has plans to build two new substations – one in Manson and the other in Leavenworth. The current Leavenworth station is almost at capacity. To gather public input on the proposed locations in the Upper Wenatchee Valley, the PUD is hosting a community meeting today at the Leavenworth Fire Station at 6 p.m. Dan Langager has the details for us.
