Candidates Forum to Focus on STEM Learning

Wenatchee Valley College, in collaboration with the Wenatchee School District and Apple STEM Network, will host a STEM Legislative Forum Tuesday, Nov. 1 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in The Grove Recital Hall on the college’s Wenatchee campus. Candidates for the House and Senate from the 12th District will share their positions on local and statewide STEM education and workforce needs with the local employers, educators, parents and the community in a moderated, panel-style forum. A question-and- answer session and closing remarks will follow the forum.
