Another Busy Week for Chelan County Search and Rescue

2016 is on track to set a new record for search and rescue operations in Chelan County. The number has already surpassed the totals from 2014 and 2015 and is only a few away from the 2011 record. Sheriff’s Office officials point to the more normal weather patterns this year – snowy winter, cool spring and wet June – as well as more people from outside the area coming here to recreate. Dan Langager sits down with Rich Magnussen and Kent Sisson of the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue Unit to learn more.
