Environmental Film and Lecture series: Leave it to Beavers and MAKERSPACE: Activities for Kids

April 17 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Free

Beavers are one of nature’s most industrious critters and their hydro-engineering activities transform the landscape. Nearly trapped to extinction for their fur and hunted as pests, a growing number of scientists and resource managers are looking to beavers to reverse water shortages and restore fish and wildlife habitat. The film is sponsored by Trout Unlimited. The event features a no-host bar, free popcorn and treats.
Kids are encouraged to attend with hands-on learning activities available to them in the MAKERSPACE courtesy of the Wenatchee Valley Medical Group.
