Suncrest Fire Updates: Click here for the latest with the wildfire northwest of Peshastin

*Suncrest Fire Update*
The new containment listing for the Suncrest Fire is 35%. Fire officials also updated the size at 330 acres. Air resources continue to make drops on the fire north of North Road east of the Chumstick Valley, including five helicopters, four air tankers and two air attack planes. More ground crews have arrived to assist in building containment lines between the fire and homes.
Evacuation notices are unchanged from this morning - Level 3 for 110 homes north of North Road, Level 2 for 60 homes south of North Road and Level 1 for the town of Peshastin and several homes where North Road meets Chumstick Highway.
Icicle River Middle School in Leavenworth has been set up as a Red Cross shelter. Cell phone service is still spotty so residents should rely on landlines to place emergency 911 calls.

Here are the latest Suncrest Fire stats from the Northwest Command Center morning briefing:
The fire is over 250 acres in size located two miles northeast of Leavenworth. It's listed at 75% containment, but still considered active fire behavior.
It's burning in timber, brush and grass. Structures, power infrastructure and private timber threatened. Fire officials said one home has been lost.
The fire started Saturday Aug. 27 around 3:30 p.m. and officials believe it was human caused.
Local resources who were out on the fire throughout the night. A Type III team is managing the Suncrest Fire.
