The very best of today with the biggest hits of the 80's and 90's.

After 18 months of fundraising, the Save the Peshastin Mill Waterfront surpassed their goal of $453,000 this week. A final donation from Peter Bevis of Chelan Falls, the grandson of the old mill's founder Cy Sawyer, closed the gap. The group will now officially purchase the 14 acres of Wenatchee River shoreline from Bill and Jenny Goebel of Leavenworth, developers who bought the upland 50 acres for vineyards, a winery and other businesses. Upper Valley native and one of the preservation initiative’s founders Rollie Schmitten told KOHO he can’t stop smiling.
The group will then transfer the property to the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife for management and maintenance. Schmitten said they will also reserve an easement for a trail along the property.
