An adventure park sounds like a great way to make the community unhappy and add more tourism to a town that is bursting at the seams. Many have talked about adding a parking garage instead of two new hotels and more tourist shops. Sure small business is great, but when are we going to counter our original intention? We are going to kill the town and make it some hoity toity b.s. Why are we adding more attractions to a town that thrives on being in an alpine setting? Build a parking garage over there, it’s not always about the money, I would think that our town council knew that. This profit driven mindset is what is turning locals off. Balance is key unless you want Leavenworth to be the next DollyWood.
